What is BravoBay?
BravoBay is an independent story laboratory built around a simple belief: great stories don’t need permission to exist.
We create original books, films, characters, and worlds—then find inventive ways to launch them into the culture. Some are funny. Some are dangerous. Most become considerably more complicated than the original proposal suggested.
We are storytellers building the stories we believe should exist.
Currently Escaping
the Lab
The work moves across formats, but the mission stays the same: build bold worlds, back original voices, and make stories people remember.
Original Worlds
Science fiction, fantasy, comedy, memoir, and stories that refuse to sit neatly on one shelf.
Stories in Motion
Short films, trailers, visual experiments, and cinematic extensions of the worlds on the page.
Field Reports
Launches, creative experiments, victories, mishaps, and dispatches from inside headquarters.
Bold Voices
Writers and collaborators with something real to say—and the courage to say it their way.
We’ll Point You Toward the Experts.
BravoBay is currently focused on building its own story worlds and is not accepting manuscript submissions. But we’ve assembled trusted tools, specialists, and resources for creators building theirs.

We want to be super-successful bazillionaires. We want our books turned into movies and prestige television. We want action figures and comic books to follow.
